Unlike most fat-soluble vitamins, Vitamin E is stored for a relatively short period of time, so we need to regularly top up our levels.
Vitamin E is found only in a few foods, many of which are high in fat. This can make it difficult to obtain the required amount of Vitamin E from the diet, especially if on a low fat diet.
Always choose the superior natural form (d-Alpha Tocopherol) over the synthetic form (dl-Alpha Tocopherol) as it is more effective and more easily crosses the blood-brain barrier.
