Each BodySpec Ultimate Cranberry capsule contains 250mg of 25:1 cranberry extract, equivalent to 6.25g of fresh cranberries. Because cranberries are a bitter-tasting fruit, cranberry juices are packed full of water and sugar to dilute and sweeten the taste. Cranberry capsules enable you to get the full benefit of cranberry without the sugar.
Cranberry has a natural antibiotic effect on the urinary tract. Regular cranberry supplementation can reduce the number and shorten the duration of urinary tract infections and cystitis.

Q. How Does Cranberry Help Fight Bladder Infections ?
A. Taking cranberry stimulates the creation of hippuric acid, producing more acidic urine and having a strong antibiotic effect on the urinary tract. Cranberry also contains phytochemicals called proanthocyanidins which suppress the ability of harmful microorganisms to adhere to the lining of the urinary tract. This makes the environment a more difficult place for disease-causing bacteria to multiply.
Although daily consumption of cranberry (juice or capsules) has been shown to dramatically reduce the frequency of urinary tract infections and to shorten the duration of such infections, it is nevertheless important that persistent urinary tract infections are treated promptly with antibiotics.
Q. Can Cranberry Help With The Smell of Urine ?
A.Cranberry does help to deodourise urine so is particularly useful for anyone suffering from incontinence.
